Personal Injury Fee Earner (RTA Litigation)
Location: Hightons Solicitors
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Hightons Solicitors is a modern, ambitious, and growing law firm with a reputation for delivering excellent results and outstanding client care. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a motivated Personal Injury Fee Earner to join our thriving team.
This role would suit someone with at least 12 months' experience handling litigated RTA claims who is confident managing their own caseload. You do not need to be a qualified solicitor, though desirable —we are interested in talented individuals with the right experience, drive, and commitment to client service.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of litigated RTA personal injury matters from inception through to conclusion, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service throughout their claim.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 12 months' experience handling litigated RTA personal injury claims.
- Experience managing your own caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Confident dealing with claims that have exited the Portal and progressed into litigation.
- Experience drafting legal documents, including Particulars of Claim, Witness Statements, Schedules of Loss, Directions Questionnaires, and other court documents.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules.
- Ability to comply with court directions, manage deadlines, and progress matters proactively.
- Experience preparing cases for trial, including liaising with Counsel, preparing trial bundles, and ensuring all evidential requirements are met.
- Experience using Proclaim case management software.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach with a desire to develop and progress your career.
