We are currently recruiting Test Drivers for a short-term vehicle testing project in Germany. The role involves driving test vehicles on public roads and supporting basic vehicle testing tasks during the project period.
This is a temporary project-based position, with an estimated duration of approximately one month. Candidates must be available for business travel to Germany and be able to start at short notice.
Immediate start available — contract signing can be arranged as early as today, and the successful candidate may start as early as tomorrow.
The company will provide vehicle insurance for the test vehicles. Flight tickets to Germany will be arranged or reimbursed by the company, and hotel accommodation costs will also be reimbursed where overnight stays are required.
Job Description
As a Test Driver, you will be responsible for driving test vehicles safely and professionally during road testing activities in Germany. You may be required to travel to different cities or regions depending on the project schedule.
Main responsibilities include:
- Driving test vehicles on public roads in Germany according to the project plan
- Supporting vehicle road testing and basic data collection activities
- Following assigned routes and testing instructions
- Reporting any vehicle issues, warning messages, abnormal behaviour, or road test observations
- Ensuring safe and responsible driving at all times
- Complying with local traffic laws, company testing procedures, and safety requirements
- Communicating clearly with the project team during daily testing activities
- Travelling as required during the project period
Requirements
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Must be a British citizen and hold a valid British passport
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence for at least 2 years
- Automatic or manual driving licence holders are both acceptable
- Must be legally eligible to travel to Germany for the project
- Must be willing and able to travel to Germany for business purposes
- Comfortable with long-distance driving and flexible working locations
- Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and reliable
- Able to follow instructions and report issues clearly
- Previous vehicle testing, delivery driving, automotive, fleet, logistics, or professional driving experience is preferred but not essential
