We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Estimator to join our team.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within the groundworks and civil engineering sector, ideally across a mix of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Depending on experience, the role will focus on either estimating/pre-construction or commercial management of live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates and tender submissions.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and review drawings/specifications.
- Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Manage valuations, variations and project costs where applicable.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with clients, site teams and Contracts Managers.
Experience
- Groundworks experience is essential.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Estimator.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, roads, foundations, earthworks, concrete and external works.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Causeway is desirable.
- Strong commercial, numerical and communication skills.
A competitive salary and package will be offered, dependent on experience.
Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
