We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our domiciliary care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting both service users and care staff in the community.
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory requirements. You will provide day-to-day supervision, support staff development, and help maintain excellent standards of care. There will also be an element of care support work as and when required to help cover if needed.
Main Duties
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of Care Workers.
- Conduct spot checks and competency assessments
- Assist with staff on the job training.
- Support care planning, risk assessments, and care reviews.
- Report to service user concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant care regulations.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
About You
- Previous experience in domiciliary care or community care desirable.
- Experience supervising or leading care staff.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, medication management, and person-centred care.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
