Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a commercial bakery.
Approximately four hours per week.
The cleaning will be done outside of production hours, so flexibility is important.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of the production area, including the office and toilet.
- Use cleaning equipment and products to clean floors, walls, ceilings, and worktops effectively.
- Maintain hygiene by disinfecting high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and communal equipment.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality agreements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
