Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing fixtures and systems to identify issues early
- Perform pipefitting, soldering, and welding as required for various projects
- Measure and cut pipes accurately using appropriate tools such as saws and pipe cutters
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations where necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within deadlines
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials and equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance roles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and related infrastructure
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques relevant to plumbing projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on-site
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles or lorries preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with an organised approach to work tasks
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in plumbing or related trades are advantageous
