Position Description:
The internal sales representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing inbound & outbound sales activities within their region. The role focuses on identifying customer needs. Value engineering & preparing quotations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the internal sales representative must ensure accurate order processing, timely follow ups & effective communication with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone and email
- Proactively generate sales through outbound calls and follow-ups
- Qualify leads and identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations and proposals
- Convert quotes into confirmed sales orders
- Maintain and manage customer records within the CRM system
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Pass leads to Business Development Executive to follow up wider opportunities
- Process sales orders accurately and coordinate with operations/logistics teams
- Follow up on outstanding quotes, backorders, and customer requests
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Provide product information, pricing, and availability updates to customers
- Raise NCR and issue to QA any client complaints
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback
Position: Full Time with an immediate start
Hours of work: Mon- Thursday 9.00am -17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Holidays: Full time – 25 days per year (Holiday year Jan – Dec) + 8 Bank holidays, Pro rata for part time.
Life Insurance: 3 times basic salary whilst in employment
