Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete multiple deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload packages, including heavy lifting, with attention to safety protocols
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Assist in warehouse activities such as stock handling and inventory management when needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, including <PERSON> driver certification if applicable
- Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with traffic regulations
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling of packages
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations
- Ability to stay organized, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday
