Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the retail outlet, including operational tasks and staff supervision.
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours.
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure products are attractively displayed and stock levels are maintained appropriately.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain administrative records such as inventory logs and sales reports
- Support visual merchandising efforts to enhance store presentation in line with brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
Skills
- Proven experience within retail environments, including supervising teams and managing sales operations and preferably management experience.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in sales management techniques and merchandising strategies to optimise store performance.
- Sound time management skills to meet deadlines and handle operational demands seamlessly.
- Administrative experience related to stock control, reporting, and staff scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise organisational tools such Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
- Professional demeanour with polished phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
