Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
- Prepare a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and garnishing
- Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to minimise waste
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills
- Contribute to menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operated safely
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Previous experience in food service, culinary arts, or hospitality industry preferred
