Job Summary
We are seeking diligent and reliable Domestic Cleaners to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in private homes across our beautiful capital city. We currently manage over 100 tenement stairwells and are now expanding our operation to meet the needs of private properties in conjunction with communal spaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for clients. Prior experience in domestic cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided. All positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces (predominantly in kitchen/living room and bathroom) dependant on customers requirements
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. First impressions count and you are trusted in someone's home, so it's important you are as good a person as you are a cleaner.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Ironing is an additional service if required by the customer on request
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good time management abilities to complete tasks efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience and familiarity with general household or commercial cleaning procedures

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
