Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our clients team in Ballymena. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure compliance with health standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a secure working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and good communication skills
