We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join our SEND Local Area Partnership, focusing on Quality Assurance. This strategic role is perfect for a skilled professional who can influence practice, drive improvement, and work collaboratively across education, health, and care services to enhance outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
The successful candidate will provide professional leadership, coaching, and expert advice, support SEND inspection readiness, contribute to national SEND reforms, and champion the voices of children, young people, and families. This is an exciting opportunity to shape practice and influence system-wide change within Nottinghamshire's SEND Partnership.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:

Provide advanced practice leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff across education, health, and care.

Lead the design and delivery of training and workforce development programmes.

Act as a senior advisor to managers and partners, offering expert insight on complex cases and systemic issues.

Promote evidence-informed practice, reflective supervision, and a learning culture.

Ensure best practice standards are embedded in Education, Health, and Care (EHC) assessments, plans, and reviews.

Drive continuous improvement, ensuring statutory compliance and high-quality practice.
To excel in this role, you should have:

In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, particularly the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.

Experience in leading and supporting complex EHC casework, including mediations, tribunals, and complaints.

A relevant professional qualification in social work, education, or a related field.

Proven track record of strategic leadership within multi-agency SEND partnerships.
