Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care.
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods to meet quality standards.
- Maintain strict food safety protocols to ensure cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guests feel valued.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling transactions and giving correct change.
- Keep the café area tidy, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
- Support team members with additional duties such as serving tables or assisting with inventory management as needed.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly preferred; familiarity with espresso machines and drink customization is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure safe handling and preparation of food items.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
