Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school in Erdington to join their support staff team on a long-term basis.
Our client wants to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work with a child with SEN in KS2. Responsibilities in this role include supporting the child to meet their individual needs and enabling them to access classroom learning as well as monitoring their progress. The ideal person has experience with SEMH and strong behaviour management.
This Teaching Assistant role is to start in September and is ongoing on a long term basis, likely for the full academic year. The position is full time 08:30-15:30.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working in schools in the UK
- Minimum Level 3 qualification
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Effectively manage behaviour and engagement levels
- Supporting with learning and development
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and other staff
- Giving feedback to parents
- Commitment to the role
- Being flexible when needed
Working for Flourish Education as a Teaching Assistant you will receive:
- £92.56 day rate to £100 day rate which equates to £18,049 per annum to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year dependent on experience
