Event Operations Manager – Salon International
Location: Gloucester (with regular travel to London and event venue)
Hours: Part-time initially, moving to full-time during peak event periods (flexible for the right candidate)

We're looking for an organised, proactive and calm Event Operations Manager to help deliver Salon International one of the UK's largest and most respected professional hair industry exhibitions.
Working alongside our Operations Director, you'll play a key role in planning and delivering every aspect of the event, ensuring exhibitors, suppliers and contractors have everything they need for a successful show.
No two days are the same, and if you enjoy solving problems, juggling priorities and seeing months of planning come to life, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating exhibitors from planning through to live event.
- Managing operational timelines and project plans.
- Liaising with venues, contractors and suppliers.
- Coordinating feature areas, seminar rooms and event logistics.
- Preparing operational documentation and schedules.
- Supporting build-up, live event operations and breakdown.
- Working closely with the wider event and registration teams.
- Identifying and resolving operational issues before they become problems.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is exceptionally organised with great attention to detail.
- Enjoys planning and coordinating multiple projects at once.
- Communicates confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys finding solutions.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office in particular excel, google applications such as sheets and gemini as well as learning new software.
- Is happy travelling to London and working on-site during event build and open days (7 continuous days).
- Has experience in events, exhibitions, hospitality, project coordination or logistics (preferred but not essential).
