TMM are working exclusively with a highly acquisitive manufacturing group to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller. This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the finance function as the business continues to expand through acquisition and organic growth.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you'll be responsible for ensuring robust financial control while providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making. You'll lead the Finance Team and drive continuous improvements across systems, processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading the month-end close process and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting
- Maintaining a strong financial control environment, ensuring compliance with governance and internal controls
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Providing commercial analysis and insight to support business performance and decision-making
- Leading, developing and mentoring the Finance Team
- Identifying and implementing system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
You'll be a qualified Accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical and operational finance experience.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience in financial reporting, controls and governance
- A strong operational finance background with the ability to improve processes
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous line management experience would be advantageous
