Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products related to gardening, horticulture, and outdoor living.
- Provide detailed product information, including plant care tips, gardening techniques, and horticultural advice to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising practices to promote featured products and seasonal items.
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure product availability.
- Communicate fluently in English and Spanish to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
- Offer personalized recommendations based on customer needs, preferences, and gardening experience levels.
- Keep the store organized by maintaining cleanliness, signage clarity, and overall presentation to create an inviting shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Multilingual skills with fluency in English and Spanish are highly desirable to connect with a broad range of customers.
- Passion for gardening and horticulture with basic knowledge of plant care, gardening tools, and outdoor products.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey product information and build rapport with customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels, display setups, and store cleanliness efficiently.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads and arranging displays.
