Salary: £100 - £105 per day

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant seeking a long-term role in a secondary school in the Chorley area on a full-time basis. The role is due to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Supporting students with SEND across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Working on a one-to-one basis and with small intervention groups
- Assisting students with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Liaising effectively with teaching staff and the SEND team
- Monitoring and recording student progress where required
Pre-requisites
- Previous UK secondary school experience is essential
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Knowledge of a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
