Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth and even finish. Your expertise in masonry, carpentry, and the use of power and hand tools will be essential in ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specific ratios
- Apply plaster coats using trowels or other tools
- Create decorative textures and finishes
- Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
- Install insulation materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role
- Proficient in masonry techniques and bricklaying
- Knowledge of carpentry principles and practices
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in plastering
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
