Were growing! To support our ongoing growth, were looking for talented freelance Apprenticeship Assessment Assessors to join us on our journey. As an Apprenticeship Assessment Assessor, your role is to deliver reliable, independent assessment services to Construction EPA Company customers. Youll apply industry expertise to evaluate apprentice performance across multiple activities, ensuring grading decisions accurately reflect their occupational competency.
This role requires someone with exceptional assessment abilities coupled with the ability to act with integrity and impartiality. And someone who is flexible, with the independence to travel for assessments as and when the business requires.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct Apprenticeship Assessments within your main areas of competence and experience

Ensure timely completion of all required assessment follow up and documentation within the EPA system, in line with quality assurance requirements and service level agreements

Attend and contribute to standardisation events for Apprenticeship assessment

Manage your own caseload of apprentices through their Apprenticeship Assessments

Provide assessment feedback to Construction EPA Company quality requirements and within SLA

Complete required CPD in accordance with Construction EPA Company regulators requirements

Complete training as required to maintain own competence
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications

Hold an independent assessor qualification e.g. A1
-
Have the competence to assess the apprentice at the level of this apprenticeship and hold any required qualifications and experience

Have recent relevant experience of the occupation or sector to at least occupational level 3 gained in the last 3 years or significant experience of the occupation or sector including up to date CPD

Excellent organisational skills

Able to travel as necessary to fulfil the duties of the post
Desirable Skills / Experience / Qualifications

Experience of conducting End-point Assessments/Apprenticeship Assessments

Experience of supporting apprentices
