Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Podiatrist / Chiropodist to operate as a self-employed professional. The role involves providing specialised foot and lower limb healthcare services to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to manage their own schedule while delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ foot and lower limb health, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Perform clinical procedures such as nails, callouses, verucca treatment etc
- Develop personalised treatment programmes tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in podiatry and incorporate best practices into daily work.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required to ensure holistic patient care.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex medical information clearly to patients of all ages.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective documentation and patient interaction.
- Strong IT skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and relevant medical software.
- Ability to teach patients about foot health and preventive measures in an engaging manner.
- Organised with the ability to manage a flexible schedule efficiently.

Pay: £26,254.58-£49,275.50 per year
