InStyle Landscape Design & Build is a multi-award-winning landscaping company based in Stockton-on-Tees, specialising in the design and construction of high-end residential gardens.
We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Landscaper / Paving Installer to join our team and help us deliver the quality of work our reputation is built on.
This is not a position for someone looking to learn the trade.
We are looking for someone who can arrive on site, understand what is required, work independently and consistently deliver a high-end finish without needing to be micromanaged.
If you can lay porcelain and natural stone paving to a genuinely high standard, understand levels, falls, drainage and correct preparation, and don’t need to be shown how to do the job, we want to hear from you.
THE ROLE
You will work on high-end residential landscaping projects, carrying out quality installations across a range of disciplines, including:
- Groundworks and preparation
- Porcelain paving
- Natural stone paving
- Block paving
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Raised porcelain and blockwork planters
- Timber sleeper planters
- Drainage
- Decking
- Fencing
- Pergolas
- Outdoor kitchens
- Artificial lawns
- General landscaping and associated construction work
We are particularly interested in installers who have strong hard landscaping and paving skills and understand that the quality of the finished installation is what matters.
This is high-end residential work, so accuracy, preparation, levels, attention to detail and finish are extremely important.
RESPONSIBILITIES
I will handle project management, scheduling and overall organisation.
Your responsibility will be to take ownership of the installation on site and deliver the work to a consistently high standard.
Where required, you will also be expected to organise and manage a labourer to assist with your day-to-day installations and keep the project progressing efficiently.
You should be confident working independently and be capable of identifying and solving problems on site rather than waiting to be told what to do.

The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in high-end residential landscaping
- Excellent paving and hard landscaping skills
- The ability to install porcelain and natural stone paving to a high standard
- A strong understanding of preparation, levels, falls and drainage
- Consistently high-quality workmanship
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to organise and direct a labourer when required
- Good communication skills
- A positive and professional attitude
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good onsite housekeeping
- A good understanding of health and safety
- Pride in your work and a genuine desire to produce an exceptional finish
