We are looking for an experienced Principal IT Solutions Consultant to lead complex client engagements and design practical technology solutions that support long term business goals.
This is a senior non executive position suited to someone who can assess technical environments translate business requirements into clear solution designs and guide clients through technology change. You will work closely with technical teams project managers service delivery colleagues and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design
Assess client requirements and develop secure scalable and cost effective IT solutions.
Technical Consulting
Provide strategic guidance on cloud infrastructure cyber security networking business continuity and managed IT services.
Client Discovery
Lead workshops with clients to understand business goals technical challenges operational risks and future requirements.
Technical Documentation
Prepare solution proposals architecture documents implementation plans technical recommendations and statements of work.
Project Support
Work with project managers and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions can be delivered successfully.
Stakeholder Management
Present technical recommendations clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Technical Leadership
Support and mentor consultants engineers and other technical colleagues while promoting consistent delivery standards.
Risk Assessment
Identify technical security operational and commercial risks before implementation begins.
Service Improvement
Review existing client environments and recommend improvements to reliability security performance and cost efficiency.
Vendor Coordination
Work with technology vendors and partners to evaluate products licensing requirements and implementation options.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
At least 6 years of experience in IT consulting infrastructure cloud services managed IT support or solution architecture.
Consulting Background
Strong experience working directly with business clients and translating operational requirements into technical solutions.
Technical Knowledge
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Microsoft Azure networking cyber security backup disaster recovery virtualisation and endpoint management.
Communication Skills
The ability to explain complex technical information clearly to senior stakeholders clients and delivery teams.
Leadership
Previous experience mentoring technical professionals reviewing solution designs or leading complex client engagements.
Commercial Awareness
A practical understanding of project costs licensing service agreements technical scope and client expectations.
Problem Solving
A structured approach to assessing technical issues comparing options and recommending appropriate solutions.
Pay: £6,000.00-£7,000.00 per month
