Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial environments, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled
