We are looking for someone to work Wednesday and Friday evenings 5-11 and Sundays 10-7.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, providing friendly and efficient service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic options, and coffees in accordance with food safety standards
- Take food orders and serve tables
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately
- Manage cash transactions with basic math skills, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and prevent over-intoxication, adhering to legal alcohol service regulations
- Restock bar supplies regularly, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients needed for drink preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and contribute to a lively, positive atmosphere
- Light cleaning at start of shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests professionally and courteously
- A personable attitude with a genuine passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences
- Must be at least 18 years old due to serving alcohol regulations
