Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Front of House (FOH) team member to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing food and beverage service, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, along with leadership skills, will be highly valued. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage table reservations efficiently
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage the flow of service during busy periods, supervising junior staff where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing specialised coffee beverages
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service timings and ensure smooth operations
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and cleanliness at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising or management experience in a busy environment is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen and front of house operations
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and restaurant management procedures
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong leadership qualities coupled with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
Pay: From £15,000.00 per year
