Class 1 HGV Driver – Bulk Tipper Work
We are looking for a reliable and self-sufficient Class 1 HGV driver to deliver scrap metal using a steel bulk tipping trailer.
Base: March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 0AZ
Rate: £200 per day
Engagement: LTD company or self-employed drivers
Working area: Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and surrounding areas
Hours: Early starts with generally early finishes
Nights out: None
The role
- Collecting and delivering scrap metal
- Operating a steel bulk tipping trailer
- Completing daily vehicle and trailer checks
- Working independently and managing daily duties responsibly
- Following all site, road-safety and load-security requirements
- Completing the necessary collection and delivery paperwork
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Previous bulk-tipper experience is preferred
- Must meet all applicable company and vehicle-insurance requirements
