Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Barista/Supervisor to lead our coffee operations in our busy Restaurant.
The restaurant is open from 9.30am to 4pm everyday. The successful applicant will be expected to work a mixture of weekdays plus one weekend day.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding coffee and service standards
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and drinks, ensuring consistency and quality
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide training and support to team members on barista training.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace that complies with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a hospitality or café environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
