About Us
TTS Vehicle Services is a fast-paced and growing automotive business based in Hoddesdon. We specialise in vehicle preparation, repairs, and quality control for a high-volume operation. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly organised and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our team and keep operations running efficiently.
The Role
As Workshop Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop. You’ll ensure all vehicles are prepared to a high standard, deadlines are met, and the team operates efficiently in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations and workflow
- Manage and coordinate technicians and fitters
- Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Schedule work effectively to maximise productivity
- Liaise with internal departments regarding vehicle progress
- Monitor performance, efficiency, and turnaround times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements
- Must have both hands-on workshop experience AND supervisory/management experience
- Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Workshop Controller
- Strong mechanical knowledge (hands-on background essential)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once
- Experience working in a fast-paced motor trade environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
