ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists, a leading referral center in the UK, is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join our surgery internship program. As a member of our highly skilled team, you will gain invaluable experience working alongside renowned surgeons, including two Diplomates of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVSc), one from the American Collage of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) and one certificate holder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a wide range of surgical procedures, including soft tissue, orthopedic, and oncologic surgeries.
- Participate in daily ward rounds, case discussions, and journal clubs to enhance your surgical knowledge.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians and specialists to provide exceptional patient care.
- Gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art surgical suite equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities.
- Rotate through on-call shifts (OOH) as part of the internship program.
Ideal Candidate:
- Recent graduate or veterinarian with relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for veterinary surgery and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
