A fantastic opportunity has become available within the worlds leading logistics company.
Flexsource are seeking a professional HGV 1 Driver to join their team.
The position is immediate start and is on a temporary to permanent basis.
A typical day may include:
- Operate HGV 1 lorries safely and responsibly, adhering to all road regulations and company policies.
- Making deliveries and collections from Belfast to Dublin depot (Business to Business)
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel efficiency.
- Conduct pre-journey checks on the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid HGV 1 (Class 1) licence.
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with delivery routes
- Strong driving skills with an emphasis on safety and compliance with road laws
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo when necessary
- Good organisational skills for route planning and documentation management.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
