Part-Time Electrician Required

Due to continued growth, Alwyn R Electrical Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Electrician to join our team.
This role is ideal for a self-employed electrician looking to supplement their existing workload, or someone seeking flexible part-time employment with the opportunity for additional hours as the business continues to grow.
The Role
You’ll be carrying out a variety of domestic and light commercial electrical work across North Wales, including:
- Fault finding and repairs
- Consumer unit replacements
- Inspection, testing and certification
- EICRs
- Smoke and heat alarm installations
- EV charger installations
- General electrical installations and maintenance
Some days we’ll work together as a team, while on other occasions you’ll be trusted to work independently. You’ll never be left without support—I’ll always be available by phone if you need advice or assistance.
Every job will be issued with:
- A clear scope of works
- A method statement where applicable
- An expected completion time
- Any relevant customer or site information
This ensures you know exactly what’s expected before arriving on site.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience carrying out domestic and/or commercial electrical work
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs to a high standard
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van
- Own basic hand and power tools
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their experience through previous employment, self-employment, references, or examples of completed work.
Desirable
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing experience
- EV charger installation experience
- ECS or CSCS card
- Experience with fault finding, EICRs and consumer unit replacements
