We are a privately run day nursery in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and are looking for someone with a childcare qualification at level 3. At Moreton Hall Prepcare we offer high quality care for the children and families that attend. We always respect and value our staff. We are a small friendly team with lots of experience and looking for the right person to join our team.
About you -
Do you love working with children? We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and helping them grow.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to embrace the fun and sometimes quirky side of nursery life.
- Commitment to providing outstanding care and supporting every child’s individual needs.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential).
The Role -
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- To participate in providing a caring, safe, learning environment for children/babies.
- Support and inspire children to become confident, independent learners, recognising that every child is unique and learns in their own way.
- To assist in the provision of all child care activities. Maintain good standards of hygiene for all children/babies.
- Work as a team, building good relationships with children, parents and staff. To have a good working knowledge of the Nursery and its policies.
- Work within the guidelines and have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Ensure the smooth running of the nursery, delivering high-quality practice, care, and education alongside the management team.
- Build strong, professional partnerships with parents and support them as needed.
- Prioritise safeguarding and safety for all children, staff, and visitors—safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.
- Be a positive, supportive team player, attending staff meetings, training, and nursery events as required.
