Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at Falcon Manor. This vital role ensures that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. As the leader of our housekeeping team, you will oversee daily cleaning activities, coordinate with other departments, and uphold exceptional service quality to create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your proactive approach and strong organisational skills will drive efficiency and foster a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all cleaning activities across the property, ensuring adherence to established standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with health regulations and company standards.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to address facility issues promptly and maintain overall property presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong background in hospitality preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising housekeeping teams or similar service departments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments clearly.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.
