Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Serve drinks from the bar efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations in accordance with hygiene regulations
- Handle payments accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns with professionalism
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including food safety procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
