Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts and Finance Administrator to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will manage financial records, oversee accounts payable processes, and ensure the accuracy of our accounting software systems. Your expertise will help maintain smooth financial operations and support the organization’s growth.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments using accounting software such as Sage
- Reconcile financial statements regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update financial records with precision, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing relevant reports for management review
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems to streamline financial workflows
- Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as Sage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
- Familiarity with reconciling accounts and managing financial reports
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
- Prior experience in a similar administrative or finance role is preferred but not mandatory
