Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team at Engineering Solutions & Automation Ltd (ESA). This is an exciting opportunity to work within the manufacturing and automotive industry, contributing to the design and delivery of bespoke automation and assembly solutions.
At ESA, you won’t be limited to theory — you’ll take ownership of real engineering projects from initial concept and design, through to material procurement, assembly, and on-site installation. Our systems are used by leading manufacturers including Ford and Jaguar Land Rover, giving you direct exposure to high-impact engineering applications from day one.

Responsibilities
- Support and lead elements of engineering projects from concept design through to installation
- Assist in the development of CAD models and system layouts using SolidWorks and MTpro
- Contribute to the design and integration of automation systems, tooling, and assembly solutions
- Support project management activities including procurement, scheduling, and documentation
- Participate in hands-on assembly, testing, and commissioning of systems
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve real-world manufacturing challenges
- Assist with troubleshooting, system improvements, and technical documentation
- Gain exposure to wider business functions including sales and customer interaction

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Interest in manufacturing, automation, and engineering systems
- Basic understanding of CAD (SolidWorks experience beneficial but not essential)
- Practical mindset with an interest in hands-on engineering work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
