Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CPCS/NPORS 360 Driver to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery, specifically the 360-degree excavator, to support various construction and excavation projects. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise in commercial driving will be essential to ensure safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment. Duties
- Operate CPCS/NPORS certified 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently across multiple sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, loading, and material handling tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Coordinate with team members to execute project plans accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies.
- Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or commercial driving skills as needed.
Experience
- Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 excavator operation.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to excavators and similar equipment.
- Experience with commercial driving, including safe handling of large vehicles and machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
