You would be responsible for supporting and delivering the marketing and PR activity across Caremark Hull, East Riding, Selby, York and North Lincolnshire. You would help to build our local presence, create engaging content and support campaigns that increase awareness of our services and help us reach more customers.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you would be involved in everything from social media and website content to SEO, advertising, community engagement and creating marketing materials.
The role is based in Hessle (HU13), with one day a week spent out in the community, covering Hull, East Riding, Selby, York and North Lincolnshire.
Your role would include helping with tasks such as:
- Develop and execute a dynamic content calendar across all social media platforms.
- Oversee the website presence, including SEO optimisation.
- Lead on the creation of original content (copy, graphics, video).
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, utilising content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) and scheduling platforms.
- Lead and mentor the Community Champions & turn feedback and case studies into actionable marketing campaigns.
- Gather insights from Champions on local competition, community events, and partner opportunities to inform the overarching strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, stakeholders, and media to grow community bases.
- Lead the coordination of client events & charity initiatives.
- Manage PR communications, including pitching positive stories to local press.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, audience demographics, and SEO data.
- Produce monthly reports, utilising data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI.
It’s important to us that our Social Media and Marketing Assistant has the following qualities:
- Proven experience in a marketing / PR role, ideally within a multi-site or franchised environment but not essential.
- Experience managing community outreach or localised campaigns is essential.
- Exceptional written and visual storytelling skills.
- Dynamic, creative, data-driven, and highly organised and autonomous. A natural leader who can inspire and liaise with internal and external teams and individuals.
- Access to a vehicle is required to visit the different territory sites and Champions
