About the role
We're a UK-based marketing agency helping exterior/roof cleaning businesses grow through Meta ads and automated follow-up systems. We're looking for a freelance Account Manager to become the main point of contact for our clients — handling day-to-day communication, weekly reporting, and making sure every client feels genuinely looked after.
You won't be running the ad campaigns yourself (our Media Buyer handles that) — your job is the relationship: keeping clients informed, catching issues early, and giving them confidence that someone's on top of their account.
What you'll be doing
- Daily quick check across client accounts — spotting anything that needs attention (leads not logged, a client who's gone quiet, an obvious issue)
- Responding to client messages promptly and professionally, within an agreed same-day response window
- Preparing and sending a clear weekly performance update to each client (leads generated, spend, notable wins), using data provided by our media buyer
- A brief weekly check-in with each client — gauging how things are going, gently prompting for booking updates, picking up on any concerns before they become complaints
- Flagging anything serious (a client considering leaving, a payment issue, a complaint) to the business owner directly, rather than trying to resolve everything solo
- Helping onboard new clients — setting expectations on reporting, response times, and how things work
What we're looking for
- Experience in a client-facing role — account management, customer success, or similar (agency experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Naturally calm, clear, and firm under pressure — comfortable holding a boundary with a frustrated client without being defensive or over-promising
- Strong written and spoken English
- Well organised — comfortable managing multiple client relationships and a recurring weekly reporting routine
- UK-based or strong UK-hours overlap preferred, given the client-facing nature of the role
Pay & structure
- Freelance/contractor basis, paid monthly
- £12–£18/hour depending on experience
- Approx. 8–10 hours/week to start, with scope to grow as our client base grows
- Fully remote
- Full training provided on our systems, tone, and client base before you start handling live accounts
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 12.0 per week
Work Location: Remote
