This post is an exciting opportunity for a trainee ophthalmologist who is interested in developing their skills within the Ophthalmology Directorate Southlands/St Richards.
The timetable will be focused on a mixture of all specialties, including 1-2 supervised theatre lists per week.
The doctor will be encouraged to develop and lead on research and audit projects within our department and a session will be allocated for these activities.
The post will involve travelling between the 2 sites on the basis of a set timetable, which may change, depending on progress and departmental factors.
The doctor’s timetable may need to be flexible, to allow for internal unexpected staff leave cover.
