Job Overview
We are looking for friendly, energetic and enthusiastic team members to join our team as Instructors / Sales Assistants / Party Hosts at Family Fun Zone Sutton.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll help create a fun, safe and welcoming experience for children, parents and families.
Your Responsibilities
* Supervise, support and engage children and adults during activities.
* Supervise and monitor the soft play area, ensuring children are playing safely and following the rules.
* Welcome customers, explain activities and provide friendly, helpful assistance throughout their visit.
* Ensure all safety procedures and activity rules are followed at all times.
* Deliver excellent customer service to children, parents and families.
* Take payments, process bookings and serve food and drinks.
* Host children’s birthday parties, welcoming guests, explaining activities and keeping the party running smoothly.
* Assist with party games, activities, food service and general party hosting.
* Set up and clear away party areas before and after events.
* Support the smooth running of special events and group bookings.
* Keep the centre, soft play and party areas clean, tidy and welcoming throughout the day.
* Maintain and carry out basic checks of equipment, including soft play and airsoft equipment, and report any issues immediately.
* Work as part of a team to ensure the centre operates safely and efficiently.
Skills & Experience
* Enjoy working with children and families.
* Friendly, confident, energetic and approachable personality.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Comfortable leading activities and interacting with groups of children.
* Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team.
* Organised and able to stay calm and positive in a busy environment.
* Flexible and willing to take on different duties across the centre.
* Available to work weekends and school holidays.
* Previous experience in childcare, hospitality, customer service, sales, party hosting or activity centres is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
