Restaurant Assistant
Location: Downtown Grantham Restaurant, Grantham
Hours: 20 or 25 hours per week, flexible working pattern
We're looking for friendly, reliable Restaurant Assistants to join our team at Downtown Grantham Restaurant. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play an important part in creating a welcoming experience for our customers while supporting the smooth running of the restaurant.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Restaurant Assistant, your duties will include:
- Delivering food and drinks to customers' tables promptly and professionally
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer needs
- Operating the till and processing customer transactions
- Clearing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Supporting the pot wash operation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Preparing and serving hot drinks as a barista (full training provided)
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
