Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Hybrid HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Coleraine. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering frozen, chilled, and ambient goods to a wide range of customers, including businesses, schools, and hospitals. This is a hands-on, multi-drop role that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer service.
This will include day and night work, on a rota basis which may include:
- Multi-drop deliveries to KFC stores using an 18T rigid vehicle
- Trailer deliveries to Lynas Food Outlets
- Nightshift Deliveries between depots
Flexibility is essential as part of this role.

What You Need:
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on your own initiative
- Commitment to maintaining a strong health & safety culture
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with double deck or moving deck trailers
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, including fridge units and tail lifts
- Safely transport temperature-controlled goods
- Follow scheduled routes and delivery times
- Complete trunking runs to cross-dock sites
- Collect stock from suppliers as requested.
- Handle delivery paperwork, dockets, and occasional cash transactions
- Communicate effectively with the transport office and telesales team
- Ensure proper manual handling to avoid stock damage
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Drive in a safe and fuel-efficient manner.
Work Authorisation:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Position is on-site, based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland
