Experienced Pizza Maker (Part-Time / Weekend Events)
We are a growing mobile Neapolitan pizza catering business serving weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals, and food and music events across the Midlands.
We are looking for an experienced Pizza Maker to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis. This role would be ideal for someone already working in hospitality who is looking for additional weekend work, or someone seeking flexible part-time hours.
We are very passionate about what we do, creating our Neapolitan dough from scratch, to hand stretching and baking above 450 degrees. We currently operate 2 set ups, we have a classic 1977 Citroen HY Van and a fully branded gazebo.
The successful candidate will have experience working with fresh dough, hand-stretching pizzas, and maintaining quality during busy service periods. As we operate from mobile catering units and event locations, you must be comfortable working in different environments and adapting to varying event demands.
Hours will vary depending on bookings, with the majority of work taking place on weekends, evenings, and during peak event seasons. Travel to event locations across the Midlands will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand-stretch pizza dough to a consistently high standard.
- Prepare and cook pizzas during busy service periods.
- Assist with food preparation and service setup and pack down before and after events.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient preparation.
- Work efficiently within a small team in a fast-paced event environment.
- Assist with loading, setup, and pack down of equipment when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally at events.
Requirements
- Previous experience making pizzas in a commercial environment.
- Confident hand-stretching fresh pizza dough.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible availability, particularly weekends and evenings.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Ability to travel independently to event locations across the Midlands.
- Experience towing a trailer would be advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
