Overview
We are looking for a caring, friendly and reliable Support Worker to join our team at The Limes. Your role will be to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to the people who use our service. You will help people live safe, happy and fulfilling lives while supporting their independence, choices, interests and wellbeing. You will work as part of a team and follow care plans, policies and procedures to make sure everyone receives the right support.
Responsibilities
You will put the people we support at the centre of everything you do. You will listen to their wishes and preferences and support them to make their own choices. You will help people maintain their independence, skills, hobbies and interests and support them to stay connected with family, friends and their local community. You will follow Care Plans and other guidance about how each person should be supported. You will report any changes in a person's needs or wellbeing to the Senior Support Worker or Manager and help to keep people safe by following safeguarding procedures.
You will work positively with other Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Managers and other professionals. Where appropriate and where the person wants this, you will also support positive relationships with their family, friends and other important people in their life.
You will be expected to be professional, polite, respectful and caring at all times. You will be a positive role model for other Support Workers and represent The Limes in a professional way.
Training and Development
You will attend all required training and complete any relevant qualifications for your role. You will keep your knowledge and skills up to date and be open to learning new things. You will follow all policies and procedures and understand the standards and regulations that apply to the service, including the role of CQC.

Pay: £25,420.00-£33,696.00 per year
