Mad Cats is a restaurant and hi-fi bar in the heart of East London. We run a focused dinner service before transitioning into a more relaxed, high-energy bar environment. We’re a small, close-knit team and as a company we have plans for expanding the brand internationally.
We’re looking for an experienced Front of House Server who understands real restaurant service and can confidently move between styles of service as the night evolves.
This is not an entry-level position. You’ll be expected to:
- Deliver polished, attentive table service during dinner
- Manage table turns, pacing, and sections effectively
- Handle guest feedback and complaints calmly and professionally
- Transition seamlessly into a more bar-led, fast-paced service later in the evening
- Maintain composure, warmth, and attention to detail in a busy environment
- Work closely with a small team where communication really matters
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in a restaurant setting (not just bar service)
- Understands time management, table flow, and guest expectations
- Is adaptable and comfortable switching between service styles
- Is confident, personable, and emotionally intelligent with guests
- Thrives in a small, intimate team where everyone pulls their weight
- Cares about hospitality, atmosphere, and doing things properly
