Job Overview:We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Taxi Driver to join our team in providing transportation services in and around the local area.Responsibilities:- Safely drive and operate a taxi to transport passengers to their destinations- Provide excellent customer service, including assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring a comfortable journey- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a pleasant experience- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the taxi vehicle- Drive responsibly and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations- Assist passengers with special needs as required- Handle cash transactions accuratelyExperience:- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Van Driver, or in a similar role is advantageous- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers from diverse backgrounds- Capable of maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times- Proficient in driving and navigating various routes efficiently- Willingness to perform heavy lifting when required- Valid Commercial Driving LicenceBenefits:- Competitive pay based on hours worked and fares collected- Flexible working hours to suit your scheduleRequirements:- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points- Knowledge of local roads and areas of interest- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour- Ability to work independently while prioritising passenger safety and satisfaction
