The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established fire and security business with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality electronic security solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of a range of electronic security systems across commercial and industrial customer sites. Working both independently and as part of the engineering team, you will be expected to deliver a professional service while maintaining high technical standards and building strong customer relationships.
The position also includes participation in the company's out-of-hours on-call rota, which is currently one week in every three. As the business continues to grow, the aim is to expand the engineering team and reduce the frequency of on-call commitments.
About You
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience within the electronic security industry and be confident carrying out service, maintenance and fault-finding work with minimal supervision. You will possess a professional attitude, excellent customer service skills and hold a full UK driving licence.
Package & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience, alongside an attractive benefits package, including:
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
- Participation in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 3) with standby payments.
- Overtime available as required with no cap on additional earnings.
- Travel time paid at time and a half, excluding the first and last 30 minutes of the working day. All travel is paid whilst on call.
